CLCC attended the North American Lithuanian Business Forum in Boston in June 2025. The forum gathered business leaders, investors, and public officials from both sides of the Atlantic. Here are the themes that stood out and why they matter for the Canada and Lithuania corridor.
NALBF felt pragmatic and optimistic. The conversation focused on how to match Lithuanian innovation with Canadian customers and partners, and how to translate interest into workable collaboration. The tone was practical, with an emphasis on readiness, credibility, and clear objectives.
Partnership appetite is real. Companies are looking for focused partners rather than wide outreach.
Sectors with momentum. Clean tech, AI and ICT, agri-food, and defence attracted consistent attention.
Public engagement works best with preparation. Meetings move faster when teams arrive with a simple ask that aligns to existing programs.
Capital follows traction. Investors are prioritizing proof points, pilots, and early customers.
Market entry is a process, not a jump. The most effective teams stack small steps. A short briefing, a few qualified meetings, and a timeline for follow up.
“Rooms that matter” are small and well prepared. Roundtables with clear context produced stronger exchanges than broad sessions.
Culture and credibility travel together. Shared values, clarity on compliance, and respect for process were repeated as success factors.
Events like NALBF compress distance. They put policy, capital, and companies in one place, which shortens the time from conversation to collaboration. For a new chamber focused on practical outcomes, that is exactly the environment where relationships start to carry weight.
Thank you to the organizers, speakers, and partners who made the forum a productive meeting ground. It was encouraging to see the quality of dialogue and the openness to cross-border work.
