Canada–Lithuania Chamber of Commerce Holds Inaugural Members Meeting in Toronto

The Canada Lithuania Chamber of Commerce officially launched on January 14, 2026, with its inaugural members meeting held in Toronto. The event marked the formal beginning of the Chamber’s work to strengthen business, academic, and institutional connections between Canada and Lithuania.

The meeting was hosted by Pace Law Firm and brought together business leaders, partners, and community members with a shared interest in advancing cross-border collaboration. The Chamber was honoured to welcome Egidijus Meilūnas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Canada, whose presence underscored the importance of the bilateral relationship.

During the evening, attendees were introduced to the Chamber’s purpose as a practical platform for connection, communication, and opportunity. The discussion also outlined several upcoming initiatives planned for 2026, including a Chamber event in Ottawa in February, the Vilnius University visit to Toronto in March, engagement with the North American Business Council in April, and a business delegation to Lithuania in June.

The inaugural meeting concluded with networking and conversation, setting the tone for a results-focused organization built on long-term relationships and meaningful engagement.
